Girl Scout Troop 2059 was named a DrWin Super Troop for 2022-2023. A Super Troop is one that is dedicated to community service, met certain membership requirements, participated in fall product and cookies sales, hosted badges, attended events and more.
We were also recognized for our Bronze Project. The girls received patches and certificates. They will receive their actual Bronze Award pin next month when we visit Savannah, the birthplace of Girl Scouts.
Our troop also had the honor being the Color Guard for the ceremony… our first time!
Our leaders each earned a DrWin Community Award this year! Belinda Smith won the Newcomer award: she has demonstrated outstanding initiative and commitment to her volunteer role. This person’s performance has made a positive impact on Girl Scouting and is so outstanding that it merits recognition at the service community level.
Leader Jaclyn Rhoads earned the Community Service Award for her troop’s efforts for service such as Angel Tree, hurricane kits, stuffed animal toy drive and more that Troop 2059 did this year.
Congratulations Troop 2059 on an amazing Junior Year 1!!
